The pedestrian village at the base of the mountain has lodging, shops, restaurants and play areas, and the Panoramic Gondola reaches a summit with hiking and interpretive nature trails, a 360-degree observation tower, a paid birds of prey show and, in winter, snowshoeing.
Gondola dates

Sépaq also says the park has six great rivers, 400 lakes and streams and more than 40 mammal species including the wolf, and that in August 2023 it became Quebec's first International Dark Sky Park, a designation awarded by DarkSky International.

The resort's page (copy of 17 July 2026) listed a Getaway shuttle between the Montreal Bus Terminal and Tremblant resort on Saturdays and Sundays from 27 June to 11 October 2026 and showed no 2027 dates. In Mont-Tremblant a free municipal bus loop serves Downtown (Saint-Jovite), the Village (Lac Mercier) and Tremblant Resort, some downtown stops connect with L'Inter des Laurentides (multiple daily departures between Saint-Jérôme and Mont-Tremblant), and a complimentary shuttle links lodging areas with the pedestrian village.

To the national park

Sépaq's information page (copy of 28 December 2025) lists shuttle and guided-tour transport to the La Diable sector from Mont-Tremblant and Montreal, offered by partner operators; check it for this season's services.

Park rules, entry documents and what to pack

From official sources, dated. Sépaq runs the national park and the Tremblant resort runs its own village and lifts, so each has its own rules.

Park entry

Sépaq requires a daily access right, bought before your visit. Copies of its pricing page archived on 22 August 2025 and 15 November 2025 both showed CAD 10.10 for adults (18 and over), taxes included, and free entry for children 17 and under, and the page says rates may change without advance notice. No 2026 copy was read, so confirm the current fee on Sépaq's site.

Park closures and hours

A Sépaq notice dated 15 May 2026 says the road to the La Cachée sector was badly damaged in the spring flood and that the sector stays closed for the whole 2026 season. A copy of its information page archived on 28 December 2025 lists the La Diable discovery centre's schedule only to 12 October 2026, so confirm which sectors and services are open this winter.

Entering Canada

IRCC says visa-exempt foreign nationals need an eTA to fly to or transit through a Canadian airport and do not need one when arriving by car, bus, train or boat, and that U.S. citizens are exempt from the eTA requirement. An eTA costs CAD 7 and is linked to the passport used to apply (checked 26 October 2026).

What to pack

At the St-Jovite station, wind chill falls below −20 on an average of 33.8 days a year (1991-2020), mostly from December to March, so winter visits call for warm layers. The humidex reaches 30 on an average of 12.8 days in July.

Voyzo's private day trip from Montreal takes 7 to 9 hours with lunch included, collects you at your Greater Montreal hotel, home or the airport, and returns the same day. About

About Mont-Tremblant

Mont-Tremblant is a mountain resort town in the Laurentians, with the Tremblant resort and its pedestrian village at the base of the mountain and Mont-Tremblant National Park, run by Sépaq, in the same part of Quebec. Sépaq says the park was created on 12 January 1895, and the resort's own history page traces its development from the first chairlift installed in 1939.

The two are separate. The Tremblant resort's website covers the lifts, the gondola and the pedestrian village, while Sépaq runs the park and sells its daily access right. The Voyzo tours above are helicopter flights over the resort, the village and the lakes, and the 70 km route adds the national park. The two helicopter tours are run by different operators, and the Voyzo team confirms the date and the details with you by email before anything is booked.
