Charter your own helicopter for a private flight over the Whistler and Blackcomb peaks and into Garibaldi Provincial Park, with an optional high-alpine landing when conditions allow.
This is a genuinely private helicopter charter — only your own group flies. The real route passes over the Peak 2 Peak Gondola and Whistler-Blackcomb Mountains before flying into Garibaldi Provincial Park to see Garibaldi Lake, Cheakamus Lake, and the Black Tusk, with a mountain landing included when weather conditions allow it.

The Peak 2 Peak Gondola, which this flight passes over, opened in 2008 and joined the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains into one ski area. It is reported to have a record free span of about 3 kilometres between towers and to rise around 436 metres at its highest point, with the highest point above Fitzsimmons Creek about 415 metres up. From a helicopter you see the whole line of cable and the valley below it at once.
Garibaldi Provincial Park lies south of Whistler. Garibaldi Lake, about 19 kilometres south of Whistler, gets its turquoise colour from glacial flour from the Sphinx and Sentinel glaciers: fine rock particles suspended in meltwater scatter blue and green light. The Black Tusk, at about 2,319 metres, is the weathered remains of a volcano and is among the most recognisable peaks in the Garibaldi Ranges.
Alpine landings depend on cloud base, wind and snow conditions on the day, so the pilot decides on site whether a landing is safe.
