A soft-top 4x4 safari into Whistler Olympic Park's Legacy Trail Network in search of black bears.
Ride in a comfortable 4x4 with a knowledgeable local guide through the exclusive Whistler Olympic Park Legacy Trail Network, watching for black bears and other wildlife along the way.
Adapted from a small-group experience — Voyzo runs this exclusively as a private tour for your group only. The real route begins at Alexander Falls before entering the Whistler Olympic Park Legacy Trail Network, the 2010 Winter Olympic Nordic venue, where your guide watches for black bears while sharing local wildlife and Olympic history. Bear sightings are common but never guaranteed, and the tour is worthwhile for the scenery and Olympic-venue access even on days without a sighting.

The Whistler Olympic Park sits in the Callaghan Valley west of Whistler village and was built for the 2010 Winter Olympics. It is reported as the only Olympic venue to have hosted all four Nordic disciplines at one site: biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined and ski jumping. Reported figures include about 14 kilometres of competition trails and two jumps, 106 and 140 metres, and the venue has stayed open as a public recreation area.
Black bears are the main wildlife focus, and the valley's forest edges and open trail corridors are good bear habitat. A guide who works the Legacy Trail Network can read tracks, berry patches and recent activity, but wild animals set their own schedule, so the tour is also an Olympic-history and scenery outing when bears stay away.
Interior roads like these are exactly where a high-clearance 4x4 pays off: it reaches stretches of the park beyond the visitor-centre area while keeping you off foot-traffic trails.
