No strangers, no set pace — just your group, a local guide, and five hours of coastal Maine by e-bike.
A fully private e-bike tour through Portland's Old Port and South Portland, riding to Bug Light, Spring Point Ledge, and Portland Head Light, with a fresh Maine lobster roll along the way.
Some cities are best seen from a car window — Portland is not one of them. On this fully private e-bike tour, it's just your group, a local guide, and five hours of coastal scenery. You'll ride through the Old Port's cobblestone waterfront and fishing piers, climb to Fort Allen Park for Casco Bay views, cruise the Eastern Promenade, cross to South Portland to walk the breakwater to Bug Light, continue to Spring Point Ledge — a spark plug light you can walk to along its breakwater — then Portland Head Light, commissioned by George Washington in 1791. You'll finish on the Western Promenade, a hidden hilltop park most visitors never find. Lunch is a fresh Maine lobster roll at a waterfront spot along the way.
A popular starting point — every Voyzo itinerary is fully customizable, so we'll shape the order and stops around your group.

Bug Light's cast-iron tower dates to 1875 and was designed by Thomas U. Walter, whose other work includes the U.S. Capitol's dome; the light stands at the end of a breakwater you can walk. Spring Point Ledge Light, from 1897, is a 'spark plug' tower linked to shore by a granite breakwater and is regarded as the best preserved of Maine's three remaining spark plug lights.
Portland Head Light was first lit on January 10, 1791, and is generally described as the first lighthouse completed by the new United States government; the tower had been commissioned under George Washington's direction, with masons Jonathan Bryant and John Nichols building it and Captain Joseph Greenleaf serving as the first keeper.
The Western Promenade, the hilltop park where the ride ends, is a quiet counterpoint to the working waterfront below.
