About This Tour

A private tour for your group only, with a real professional photographer — genuine historical Parisian sites, documented with real professional photos. This is a private tour for your group only, with a real professional photographer. Genuine historical Parisian sites are visited and documented with professional photography.

Much of what makes central Paris so photogenic today traces back to one deliberate, large-scale renovation: between 1853 and 1870, Baron Haussmann, acting under Emperor Napoleon III, tore down dense medieval neighborhoods and replaced them with the wide boulevards, uniform stone façades, and open squares that still define the city's center. By the time the project ended, roughly one in five streets in central Paris had been built or rebuilt by Haussmann — the look most visitors now think of as simply "how Paris looks" is, in large part, a 19th-century engineering and urban-planning project.

That layered history — medieval streets that survived the renovation sitting alongside Haussmann's grand 19th-century avenues — gives a real photographer a lot to work with across a single walk through the city's historic core.

Your real professional photographer documents the visit as you go, choosing real historical streets and landmarks rather than a single fixed backdrop, so the finished photos reflect the actual places you walked through rather than a studio setup.
