An 8-day private hiking tour through Montenegro's high mountain ranges — Prokletije, Komovi, Durmitor and Volujak — summiting Bobotov Kuk, Durmitor's highest peak, with nights in eco-villages, mountain lodges and a working brewery town. Every night is spent in inland mountain Montenegro — the eco-village of Stavna, Nevidio eco resort, mountain lodges near Poscenje and Nedajno, and Nikšić — with no coastal nights on this route.
A private guide, driver, and vehicle for the entire trip, with hotels pre-arranged at every overnight stop — the pace and any optional stops can still be shaped around your group.
Arrival pickup and transfer to Kolašin, Montenegro, where the trip begins.
Panoramic drive into inland Montenegro, a stop at a medieval monastery and a national park, and a evening arrival in the eco-village of Stavna with sunset views of Komovi Mountain.
A hike connecting three peaks — Volusnica, Talijanka and Popadija — near the Albanian border, with views over the Grebaja Valley.
A 4km climb into the Komovi Mountains, with summit views stretching into Albania, Serbia and Kosovo.
Exploring hidden meadows and grassy peaks, with an option to climb Veliki Zebalac (2,129m).
A rest day at Nevidio eco resort near glacial lakes and a canyon — a relaxed village walk, a hike to Black Lake, or canyoning, followed by an evening with a local family.
A technical ascent of Durmitor's highest peak, including steep slopes and rope sections.
A hike past glacial lakes and through beech forest to the Bojanska vrata mountain pass, then on to Volujak's summit.
A visit to the medieval Piva Monastery, time in Nikšić, and a stop at Montenegro's oldest brewery before the airport transfer.
The trip ends in Nikšić with a private transfer to the airport (Podgorica or Tivat) for your departure flight.
