La Ceja is a highland town in the Oriente region of Antioquia, east of Medellín, where the climate is cooler than in the valley. The reserve here is a forested area on the slopes, which is what makes a zipline circuit feasible: lines cross over treetops and ravines.
The lines run up to about 140 metres high and nearly half a mile in total, according to the tour description, so the experience is mostly about views and speed.
