A 10-day off-road circuit through Kyrgyzstan's heartland — Kyzyl-Oy, Son-Kul Lake, the Tash Rabat caravanserai, Eki-Naryn, Issyk-Kul's south shore, Skazka Canyon, Jety-Oguz Valley, and the Burana Tower. Adapted from a self-drive itinerary — Voyzo runs this route with your own private driver and 4x4 vehicle instead of a rental car.

Arrival pickup at Manas International Airport, Bishkek.
Pickup at Manas Airport and a drive to the capital to check in, followed by a first look at Ala-Too Square and a walk through Oak Park, finishing at Osh Bazaar.
Cross the Too-Ashu mountain pass through the Suusamyr Valley, then head off the highway along the Kokemeren River to Kyzyl-Oy, a mountain village at about 1,800m.
Wind along a mountain road past the Karakeche coal mine to Son-Kul Lake at 3,016m, staying overnight at a yurt camp among nomad grazing grounds.
Cross the Moldo-Ashu Pass at 3,400m to the Tash Rabat caravanserai, a 10th-century monastery that later became a Silk Road stopover for travelers and caravans.
Drive to the Eki-Naryn valley, watching the confluence of the Big and Small Naryn rivers, then on to Kochkor village to relax at a guesthouse.
Drive along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan's largest lake, then visit Skazka Canyon — 'fairytale' rock formations shaped like skyscrapers and animals.
Stop at Barskoon Gorge's waterfalls — Tears of the Leopard and Champagne Jet — and the Jety-Oguz 'Seven Bulls' rock formations, finishing with a dinner of ashlan-fu in Karakol.
Walk the Grigoriev and Semenov Gorges on Issyk-Kul's northern shore, then continue to the village of Tar-Suu in the Chon-Kemin Valley.
Visit the remains of the ancient Balasagun town at Burana, with its three mausoleums and old castle remains, before the drive back to Bishkek.
A final transfer to Manas Airport for your return flight.
The trip ends after a final breakfast and airport transfer to Manas International Airport for your departure flight.
