The Westside Wine Trail runs along the slopes below Mount Boucherie, a small volcanic peak whose well-drained soils and lake-moderated climate shape the wines you will taste. Because the trail is compact, a private group can fit several estates and a relaxed lunch into one unhurried day.
Frind Estate Winery calls itself the first beachfront winery in North America and occupies the historic Bennett property on the lake, purchased in 2017 by its founder after he sold an online dating company.
