Real ancestral and military survival skills, taught in the Amazon jungle.
A private multi-day survival expedition in the Peruvian Amazon led by a local guide with over two decades of jungle experience and a background in the Peruvian Army, teaching real ancestral and military survival techniques including obtaining water and food, building shelters, making fire, and jungle navigation.
This expedition is exclusively for your own group, led personally by a guide with over 26 years of jungle experience since leaving the Peruvian Army in 2000. This isn't a typical wildlife-viewing tour — it's a hands-on course in real survival skills set in genuine Amazon rainforest.

Jungle survival is a very different experience from a lodge stay: instead of being shown the forest, you are taught to function in it. The topics on this expedition, finding water and food, building shelter, making fire and navigating, are the same ones that matter whether you are an adventurer or just curious.
The Amazon is an unforgiving environment for the unprepared, with heat, humidity, heavy rain and dense vegetation that makes navigation hard because the canopy blocks views and landmarks look alike. A guide with long experience is therefore the central part of the product, not a convenience.
Because you learn by doing, this is best treated as a short course. You should come with realistic expectations of discomfort and an openness to sleeping and eating simply.
