A boat and captain of your own, staying at a lodge owned by the local community.
A 3-day private jungle tour into the Iquitos Amazon, with a boat and captain exclusively for your own group weaving through Amazonian rivers, staying at a lodge owned and run by the local native community so you see their way of life firsthand alongside real jungle wildlife.
This tour is exclusively for your own group, with your own boat and captain throughout. Because the lodge is community-owned, a share of the experience directly supports the people who live along this stretch of the Amazon, and your guide introduces you to their way of life, not just the wildlife.
A popular starting point — every Voyzo itinerary is fully customizable, so we'll shape the order and stops around your group.

Staying in a community-owned lodge changes what a jungle trip is. Instead of a company base set apart from the village, you sleep in a place the neighbors own and run, so the money and the introductions stay with the people who live along the river.
The Peruvian Amazon in Loreto is one of the most biodiverse regions on earth; Loreto alone is recorded with more than a thousand bird species, a little over half of the birds known for Peru. A private boat and captain means you set the pace, stopping when your guide spots monkeys or river dolphins, rather than following a group schedule.
The Amazon river dolphin, or boto, is the largest of the river dolphins, and adult males can turn pink, probably from scarring as they age and fight. Dolphin sightings are common in this region but never guaranteed.
