About This Tour

A 7-day circuit from the Golden Circle's geysers and Gullfoss down the South Coast to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, through the Eastfjords to Lake Myvatn's geothermal fields, and back to Reykjavik via Akureyri. Arrival

Arrival pickup at Keflavik International Airport (KEF).

Day 1 — Golden Circle Highlights

Arrival at Keflavik Airport, then straight to Thingvellir National Park's rift valley, the Geysir geothermal area, and Gullfoss waterfall, with an overnight near Selfoss.

Day 2 — Waterfalls of the South Coast

Walk behind Seljalandsfoss, climb the viewing stairs at Skogafoss, and visit Reynisfjara's black sand beach and basalt cliffs, overnighting in Kirkjubaejarklaustur.

Day 3 — Glacier Lagoon & Diamond Beach

A short hike to Svartifoss in Skaftafell, then Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon's floating icebergs and the iceberg-strewn shore at Diamond Beach, finishing in the harbor town of Hofn.

Day 4 — Into the Eastfjords

A scenic drive through remote fjord villages to Egilsstadir on Lake Lagarfljot, with a detour around Hallormsstadaskogur forest.

Day 5 — Canyons, Waterfalls & Lava Fields

Studlagil Canyon's basalt columns, Dettifoss (Europe's most powerful waterfall), and the volcanic landscapes of the Lake Myvatn region including Dimmuborgir's lava fields.

Day 6 — Godafoss & Akureyri

The 'Waterfall of the Gods' at Godafoss, then time in Akureyri, North Iceland's lively capital, before an overnight in the Midfjordur countryside.

Day 7 — Return to Reykjavik

The drive back to Reykjavik, with time for a final stop at a geothermal hot spring before the airport transfer.

Departure

The trip ends back in Reykjavik with a transfer to Keflavik International Airport (KEF) for your departure flight.
