A private 5-day Ilulissat itinerary pairing Arctic adventure with real comfort — a boat trip to the calving Eqi glacier, a hike through the 4,500-year-old Sermermiut Valley, a kaffemik with a local Inuit family, and an evening in a private hot tub overlooking Disko Bay's icebergs. This trip is entirely within Greenland, based in Ilulissat on the west coast. Greenland has very limited road infrastructure between settlements, so the excursions to the Eqi Sermia glacier and around Disko Bay genuinely run by private boat rather than by private vehicle — there's no road connecting Ilulissat to these sites. The Sermermiut Valley walk is done on foot, and only the airport transfer and in-town movement use a vehicle.
