A 15-day cross-border journey through West Africa — starting and ending in Ghana (Accra, Cape Coast, Elmina, Kumasi), then crossing into Togo's capital Lomé, and on to Benin for the stilt village of Ganvié, the Royal Palaces of Abomey, and the voodoo heritage sites of Ouidah and Porto-Novo. Eight nights of this trip are in Ghana (Accra, Cape Coast, Elmina, and Kumasi) at the start and finish, before the route crosses overland into Togo (Lomé) for two nights, then into Benin (Cotonou, with day trips to Abomey and Porto-Novo) for four nights, before returning to Ghana for the final night in Accra — every night's hotel is confirmed in whichever country you're actually in that day.

A second day taking in more of Togo's cosmopolitan capital.
A stop in Aného for a traditional voodoo ceremony, then crossing into Benin and continuing to Ouidah — regarded as the capital of Vodun practice — to see the "Gate of No Return," the Ouidah Museum of History, and the Temple of the Sacred Pythons, before reaching Cotonou.
A day at leisure to explore Benin's largest city.
A boat trip on Lake Nokoué to Ganvié, a village built entirely on stilts and home to the Tofinu people, followed by a visit to the Royal Palaces of Abomey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A day trip to Benin's administrative capital, including the Ethnographic Museum and the Grande Marché near the central mosque.
A scenic overland return to Accra, closing the loop back through Togo.
A final morning in Accra, visiting the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, before your transfer to the airport.
The trip ends back in Accra, Ghana, with a transfer to Kotoka International Airport (ACC) for your departure flight.
