This trip stays entirely within Georgia, deep in the Svaneti highlands. One night in Kutaisi opens and closes the loop, with the rest spent trekking village to village through Mestia and Ushguli and back — a genuine hiking circuit with a support vehicle handling transfers where the trail allows, rather than a single fixed base.

Hike from the village of Mulakhi over the slopes of Mt. Tetnuldi, with views of the Chaneri Glacier and Mt. Ushba, down to an overnight homestay in the remote village of Adishi.
A 6-7 hour trek along the river gorge and over the Chkhutnieri Pass, with panoramic views of the Adishi Glacier, down into the 19th-century village of Kalde and on to Iprari.
A climb to Ushguli, the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe, ringed by traditional Svan tower houses and views of Georgia's highest peak, Mount Shkhara.
A guided hike to the base of the Shkhara Glacier, Georgia's highest peak, before returning by road to Mestia.
A hike to the Ushba Falls from the village of Becho, followed by the drive back to Kutaisi.
