An 11-day train journey across France — Le Marais, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Beaujolais wine country from Lyon, the Palais des Papes in Avignon, the Calanques of Cassis, and the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. This trip stays entirely within France, connecting Paris, Lyon, Avignon, the coastal town of Cassis, and Nice on the French Riviera — ten nights across five bases, mostly by France's high-speed trains with a scenic drive along the Riviera leg. An optional day trip from Nice can reach Monaco, but that's an add-on for the free day, not part of the core route, and no night is spent there.

Arrival pickup at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).
Arrive in Paris and transfer to your hotel, followed by a guided walking tour of the Marais neighborhood and dinner at a local bistro, with an optional vintage car tour of the city.
