A private-hosted whiskey crawl through Roe & Co, Teeling, and Jameson in the Liberties.
A private-hosted whiskey sampling tour through Dublin's Liberties neighborhood, mixing cocktails at Roe & Co, production talk at Teeling, and a rare cask-strength Jameson tasting.
Your Whiskey Specialist Host travels with you privately throughout, but is upfront that the individual distillery visits themselves are a mix of private/bespoke and shared (not-private) experiences once inside each venue - the host's job is to smooth over the repetition between stops. You'll shake up whiskey cocktails at Roe & Co, talk production at Teelings, and finish with a rare 18-year cask-strength Jameson tasting.

Irish whiskey's two oldest reference points sit on opposite ends of the country. Bushmills, in County Antrim, holds a distilling licence dating to 1608 - often cited as the oldest in the world - while in Dublin, John Jameson's Bow Street distillery opened in 1780 and eventually grew into the best-known name in Irish whiskey. The Liberties neighbourhood this tour runs through was once dense with distilleries of its own; George Roe & Co, founded on Thomas Street, had grown into Europe's largest whiskey producer by 1887 before Prohibition in America and cheaper Scotch helped force its closure in 1926.
That history is exactly what this tour is rebuilding. Teeling Whiskey Distillery, opened in 2015 just across the road from where the Teeling family's own ancestor was distilling back in 1782, became the first new distillery built in Dublin in over 125 years. Roe & Co revived the historic Thomas Street name in 2017 inside the old Guinness Power Station. Between the two, you'll shake up whiskey cocktails, talk production, and finish with a rare 18-year cask-strength Jameson tasting most standard Jameson tours never offer.
Your Whiskey Specialist Host travels with you privately throughout, though the individual distillery visits themselves mix private, bespoke moments with some shared experiences once inside each venue - the host's job is to smooth over the overlap between stops.
