About This Tour

A private luxury vehicle tour covering the Guinness Storehouse, Christ Church Cathedral, and Trinity College's Book of Kells. Travel in a private luxury vehicle to the Guinness Storehouse, Christ Church Cathedral, and Trinity College for the Book of Kells across a full day.

The anchor stop on this private, luxury-vehicle day is the Guinness Storehouse at St. James's Gate, where Arthur Guinness founded his brewery back in 1759. The Storehouse building itself started life in 1902 as a fermentation plant; it only became the visitor attraction it is today in 2000, built around seven floors wrapped around a central glass atrium shaped like a pint of stout, topped by the Gravity Bar and its panoramic view over the city.

From there the day moves to Christ Church Cathedral, whose origins go back to around 1030 under the Hiberno-Norse king Sitriuc Silkenbeard, before Strongbow and his fellow Norman lords funded a full stone rebuild from 1171 - the crypt they built beneath the nave is still the largest cathedral crypt anywhere in Britain or Ireland.

The day finishes at Trinity College for the Book of Kells, an illuminated 8th-century gospel manuscript that's been in the college's safekeeping since 1661. Travelling between all three in a private luxury vehicle means the pacing stays comfortable even across three genuinely major sites in a single day.
