Union Station is the easy place to start. A station opened on the site on 1 June 1881 and burned in 1894; the current structure was finished in stages, with the enlarged central portion completed in 1914. The station house reopened in 2014 with a hotel, restaurants and shops.
The Molly Brown House is a Queen Anne brownstone built in 1889. Molly and her husband owned it from 1894 until her death in 1932, and she became known as unsinkable after surviving the Titanic on 15 April 1912.
The Big Blue Bear, formally I See What You Mean by Lawrence Argent, is a 40-foot sculpture installed outside the Colorado Convention Center in 2005. The Denver Art Museum's North Building, opened in 1971, is Gio Ponti's only completed U.S. project.
