The guided riding on this tour uses Dead Horse Point State Park's own singletrack network, the Intrepid Trail System — a real, purpose-built set of three connected loops totaling roughly 17 miles, winding through juniper and pinyon pine along the mesa rim. The three loops genuinely scale in difficulty: the short Intrepid Loop (about 1.1 miles) is the easiest, the Great Pyramid Loop (about 4.2 miles) steps up to intermediate terrain, and the Big Chief Loop (about 9 miles) is the longest and most technical of the three, though still considered approachable by Moab's own standards.
A genuinely useful distinction for this tour: the famous White Rim Trail that Canyonlands is known for is a different trail entirely, not part of this ride. It sits down and out in Canyonlands National Park itself, well below Dead Horse Point's mesa-top singletrack, and is normally tackled as a 3-to-5-day backcountry trip requiring its own overnight permits. What the Intrepid Trail System does offer, from its own cliff-edge singletrack, is a real view down onto that White Rim Trail and the canyon it threads through — you're riding above it, not on it.
The payoff for riders is the same drop and distance that makes the park famous for sightseeing: roughly 2,000 feet of sheer cliff below the trail's edge, with the Colorado River snaking through the canyon floor and the La Sal Mountains forming a backdrop to the south. It's a genuinely active way to take in the same red-rock geography most visitors only see from a parking-lot overlook.
