This entire route stays within Croatia — Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik are all Croatian towns and islands, with no border crossings.

Arrival

Arrival pickup in Zagreb, Croatia's capital, at the start of your trip.

Day 1 — Welcome to Zagreb

Check into your hotel and take a first walk through the Croatian capital, with an optional traditional dinner in the evening.

Day 2 — Zagreb's Upper and Lower Town

A guided tour takes in Zagreb Cathedral and the Dolac Market, with an optional funicular ride to Lotrščak Tower.

Day 3 — Plitvice Lakes & Journey to Split

Spend the morning walking the wooden boardwalks of the Plitvice Lakes before driving on to Split for the night.

Day 4 — Exploring Split & Sailing to Hvar

Tour Diocletian's Palace and Split's old town, then take an afternoon ferry across to Hvar Island.

Day 5 — Cave Explorations in the Adriatic

A boat excursion visits the Blue Cave off Biševo Island (or the Green Cave as an alternative) with swimming and snorkelling around the Pakleni Islands.

Day 6 — Dubrovnik's Highlights

Catamaran across to Dubrovnik for a private walking tour of the UNESCO-listed Old Town.

Day 7 — A Day at Your Own Pace

An open day in Dubrovnik, with the option of the Mount Srđ cable car or a boat trip to Lokrum Island.
