An 8-day journey pairing Serbia and Bulgaria — starting in Belgrade's fortresses and royal complexes, then crossing into Bulgaria for Sofia, Plovdiv, the Valley of Roses, Veliko Tarnovo, and the Belogradchik Rocks. Two nights are in Serbia (Belgrade, then Niš) at the start of the trip, before the route crosses into Bulgaria for the remaining five nights (Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Belogradchik, and back to Sofia) — every night's hotel is confirmed in whichever country you're actually in that day.

Arrival pickup in Belgrade, Serbia — the tour begins there before crossing into Bulgaria.

Visit the royal complex in Topola, with its mosaics and frescoes, and tour a well-known regional winery en route to Niš.
Explore Niš Fortress and the Mediana archaeological site, then cross the border into Bulgaria and tour Sofia's Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and historic center.
Visit the UNESCO-listed Boyana Church, then explore Plovdiv's cobbled old town and Roman stadium ruins.
Tour the Rose Museum, the Thracian Kazanlak Tomb, and the Etara open-air museum before arriving in Veliko Tarnovo.
Visit Pleven's historical sites and Kaylaka Park, then explore the dramatic Belogradchik Rocks and Fortress.
