This route follows the road from north to south through some of Bryce's most distinctive stops. Fairyland Canyon, near the northern end, leads along a trail into Campbell Canyon toward a formation called Tower Bridge. The park's Natural Bridge is an arch carved by rain and freezing and thawing rather than by flowing water, which makes it technically an arch rather than a true natural bridge.
At the far southern end, the Bristlecone Loop from Rainbow Point is an easy one-mile walk through ancient bristlecone pines, including trees reported to be well over a thousand years old. Inspiration Point offers the broadest panorama across the amphitheater, and Wall Street and Thor's Hammer, a roughly 25-foot pillar with a flat caprock, are reached from the Navajo Loop.
