A 10-day journey through Borneo's history, culture, and wildlife — Kuching's colonial riverfront and an Iban longhouse near Batang Ai, the cave systems of Gunung Mulu National Park, and three nights of wildlife cruises on the Kinabatangan River. A cross-Borneo route spanning both Malaysian states — 3 nights in Sarawak (Kuching and Batang Ai) and 6 nights in Sabah (Mulu National Park, Kota Kinabalu, and the Kinabatangan River), linked by domestic flights.

Arrival pickup at Kuching International Airport, where the trip begins.

A 225km drive through the countryside, stopping at the Serian farmers' market and pepper gardens, then a longboat ride to a traditional Iban longhouse for cultural demonstrations.
A return transfer to Kuching, with lunch along the way.
A domestic flight to Mulu, then a 3km plank walk through the rainforest to Deer Cave and Lang Cave, with their stalagmites, stalactites, and evening bat exodus.
A longboat cruise to a Penan settlement, Wind Cave, and Clearwater Cave, with the chance to swim inside.
A domestic flight and hotel transfer, with a free day to explore Signal Hill or Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park.
A visit to the UNESCO-listed park, home to over 4,500 identified species, with time in the Mountain Garden and an optional Via Ferrata climb.
A flight to Sandakan, then transfers to the Sepilok Orangutan Centre and Sun Bear Conservation Centre before a boat transfer to the Kinabatangan River for an evening wildlife cruise.
An early wildlife cruise, then a boat transfer upriver to Sukau village for an afternoon cruise on the Menanggul River.
A final morning wildlife cruise, then the boat back to Sandakan and an airport transfer.
The trip ends on the Kinabatangan River with a transfer to Sandakan Airport for your departure flight.
