A luxury pairing of Kathmandu's UNESCO sites with western Bhutan's dzongs and mountain passes, from Thimphu and Punakha to Gangtey and Paro. Close to half of this trip is in Nepal: two nights in Kathmandu at the start and two more nights in Kathmandu/Dhulikhel at the end (four nights total), bracketing five nights in western Bhutan (Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, and Paro) in the middle.
