A two-country journey pairing Nepal's temples, jungle, and lakeside towns with five days across Bhutan's Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro, including the Tiger's Nest hike. This is mostly a Nepal trip: nine of the fourteen nights are spent in Nepal (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur/Nagarkot, Chitwan, and Pokhara, Days 1-8, plus a final Kathmandu night on Day 14), with five nights in Bhutan (Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro, Days 9-13) in between. Every night's hotel is confirmed in whichever country you're actually in that day.

Flight into Bhutan and transfer to the capital, Thimphu.

Visit Punakha Dzong fortress and Simtokha Dzong monastery.
See Drugyel Dzong ruins, Ta Dzong National Museum, Rinpung Dzong, and Paro's old town.
Hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, a 4-5 hour round trip.
Flight from Paro back to Kathmandu, Nepal.
Final transfer to Kathmandu airport for your international flight.
The trip ends in Kathmandu, Nepal, with a departure transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM).
