Day 1 — Welcome to Paro

Arrive at Paro International Airport, drive to Thimphu, and visit the Buddha Dordenma statue and Takin Zoo.

Day 2 — Punakha, the Palace of Bliss

Cross Dochula Pass and visit Chimi Lhakhang, Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, and Punakha Dzong.

Day 3 — Phobjikha Valley

Drive to Phobjikha and visit Gangtey Goenpa monastery and the Black Necked Crane Centre.

Day 4 — Drive to Paro

Hike the Gangtey Nature Trail, then drive to Paro via Simtokha Dzong and Chuzom.

Day 5 — Paro Valley

Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum), Rinpung Dzong, and Kichu Lhakhang temple.

Day 6 — Hiking Tiger's Nest

Hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, perched at 3,120m above Paro valley.

Day 7 — Departure

Breakfast, then transfer to Paro International Airport for your flight out.
