A demanding high-altitude trek to the base of Mount Jomolhari (7,326m), crossing two passes above 4,700m through Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Park. This tour is entirely within Bhutan. Days 3-8 are a genuine high-altitude camping trek (Jangothang, Lingshi, Shodu, and beyond, with passes up to 4,820m), supported by horsemen, helpers, and camp chefs, while the remaining nights are hotel stays in Paro and Thimphu.
A private guide, driver, and vehicle for the entire trip, with hotels pre-arranged at every overnight stop — the pace and any optional stops can still be shaped around your group.

Cultural sightseeing at Kyichu Lhakhang and Paro Rinpung Dzong.
Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery (3,120m) and explore Paro town and Drukgyel Dzong.
Meet the trekking team and hike through Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Park forest to a meadow camp.
3 hours along the Pa Chhu riverbank to a camp at the base of Mount Jomolhari (4,040m).
Cross Nyele La Pass (4,700m) for panoramic Himalayan views, descending to Lingshi (4,000m).
Cross Yeli La Pass (4,820m) through treeless terrain, descending to a meadow camp (4,100m).
Descend through rhododendron and juniper forest along the Thimphu River, passing Barshong Dzong ruins.
A day of stream crossings and changing elevation through forest terrain.
Walk through bamboo forest and switchbacks, then vehicle transfer into Thimphu, the capital.
Visit the Buddha Dordenma statue and several of Thimphu's arts and crafts centers.
Transfer from Paro airport for your onward flight.
The trip ends in Paro, with a transfer to Paro International Airport (PBH) for your onward flight (connections via Delhi are common for this route).
