Because the route is chosen on the day, a guide can respond to conditions: a clear day may justify a viewpoint climb, while wind or rain may favor a forested stream valley. Fitness level and interests also shape the trail.
Half-day and full-day formats exist, so you can match the effort to how much of the mountains you want to see.
