About This Tour

A private tour for your group only, with real skip-the-line tickets to the genuine Sagrada Família. This is a private tour for your group only, with real, genuine skip-the-line tickets to the Sagrada Família.

Gaudí designed the Sagrada Família around three monumental façades, each telling a different chapter of the life of Christ and each facing a different direction. The Nativity Façade, on the east side facing the rising sun, is the only one substantially completed within Gaudí's own involvement in the project — finished not long after his death, with exuberant, almost overgrown sculptural detail celebrating Christ's birth. The Passion Façade, facing the setting sun on the west side, is its deliberate opposite: angular, stark, stripped-down figures depicting the crucifixion. The south-facing Glory Façade, still under construction today, is planned to be the largest of the three once finished, depicting humanity's path toward God.

Inside, Gaudí drew directly on nature for the basilica's structural logic. The columns supporting the nave branch upward like tree trunks, splitting into smaller limbs that distribute the roof's enormous weight the way a real tree distributes its own — a genuine engineering solution, not just a decorative flourish, built from different types of stone (Montjuïc sandstone, granite, basalt, porphyry) depending on the load each column carries. The vaults overhead use hyperbolic paraboloids, a geometric form Gaudí favored because it lets thin stone surfaces span wide spaces while staying structurally strong.

With skip-the-line tickets arranged ahead of time, your private group gets a full 2 hours to take in that detail at your own pace, rather than queuing for it.
