An 8-day journey across São Miguel, Faial and Pico islands — crater lakes, volcanic hikes, lava caves and whale-country waters — all with your own private guide and driver. This 8-day route stays entirely within the Azores archipelago — nights are split across São Miguel, Faial and Pico islands, connected by short inter-island flights and a ferry crossing, with every hotel confirmed on whichever island you're on that night.

Arrival in Ponta Delgada with a private airport transfer, followed by a guided walking tour of the city's historic center and local market.
Fly to Faial Island for a half-day marine wildlife expedition, briefed by a marine biologist, with the chance to spot two to three species of cetacean.
A half-day guided hike through rare Azorean forest with a local biologist, visiting Faial's Caldeira volcano crater and, weather permitting, descending toward Capelinhos Volcano.
Ferry across to Pico Island for a full-day jeep exploration of Portugal's largest lava tube network and volcanic caves, with lunch included, before returning by ferry to Faial.
Fly back to Ponta Delgada, then join a guided jeep tour along the south coast with stops at multiple viewpoints, ascending to the Lagoa do Fogo crater lake.
Drive to the Vista do Rei viewpoint and smaller crater lakes, cycle around the Sete Cidades twin lakes with a picnic lunch, then visit the Ferraria geothermal ocean bathing area.
A full day in the Furnas region, visiting the Terra Nostra Park botanical gardens and thermal hot springs, with lunch featuring the volcano-cooked "Cozido das Furnas."
