Senoia, in Coweta County about 35 minutes south of Atlanta, was settled in the 1860s and incorporated in 1866. Its downtown became the fictional Woodbury in the show's third season, and since the first season principal production has been based at a studio of roughly 140 acres just outside town, known as Raleigh Studios Atlanta.
The Woodbury Shoppe on Main Street sells collectibles, and the Walking Dead Museum at the Senoia Welcome Center displays artifacts such as Daryl's motorcycle, a hospital door marked "Dead Inside" and a replica prison cell. The Jackson Street Bridge, where Rick first rides into Atlanta, is not in Senoia but in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward.
