Vietnam is long and climatically split — the north (Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Sapa) is best October-April, while the south (Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta) is drier November-April. A trip spanning both ends is really visiting two different climates.
Domestic flights link Vietnam's regions — Hanoi to Hue or Da Nang, then on to Ho Chi Minh City — since the country's length makes overland travel between them impractical on a normal trip. Voyzo's routes combine private drivers for ground transfers with these flights.
Vietnam uses the dong. Cash is still preferred at markets and smaller restaurants, though cards work at hotels and larger venues. Tipping isn't traditional but is increasingly appreciated for guides and drivers on private tours.

Many nationalities can now enter Vietnam visa-free for short stays or via an e-visa applied for online in advance. Requirements have eased significantly in recent years but are worth confirming before booking flights.
Sapa's rice terraces look most dramatic either during the May-June flooding stage, when the paddies mirror the sky, or the September-October harvest, when they turn gold — the green growing season in between is pleasant but less striking in photos.
