A thirteen-day icon-to-icon route — Santiago and San Pedro de Atacama in Chile, the Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia, and Cusco and Machu Picchu in Peru. Five nights are in Chile (Santiago, Valparaíso and San Pedro de Atacama, both before and after the Bolivia leg), three nights are in Bolivia (the Uyuni salt flats and surrounding Altiplano), and four nights are in Peru (Cusco and Machu Picchu) before the trip ends in Lima. Every night's hotel is confirmed in whichever country you're actually in that day.
