An 8-day backcountry ski touring expedition through the Accursed Mountains, climbing four named peaks — including Gjeravica, Kosovo's highest — while skiing between remote guesthouses in Kosovo and Albania. Adapted from a small-group experience — Voyzo runs this exclusively as a private tour for your group only. This ski touring route crosses two countries: three nights are in Kosovo (Peja and Hajla Mountain, plus a final night back in Peja), and four nights are in Albania (Reka e Allages, Milishec, Bogićevica, and Dobërdoll) — every night's mountain hut or guesthouse is confirmed in whichever country you're actually in that day.
A private guide, driver, and vehicle for the entire trip, with hotels pre-arranged at every overnight stop — the pace and any optional stops can still be shaped around your group.
Arrival pickup at Pristina International Airport (PRN), Kosovo, at the start of your trip.
Airport pickup in Pristina and transfer to Peja for a city tour and a visit to a 13th-century monastery, followed by a 3–4 hour via ferrata climb with a Tibetan bridge crossing and an evening safety briefing.
Travel through scenic terrain to Hajla Mountain, overnighting at the Hajla Mountain Hut with a briefing from a local wildlife conservation group.
Avalanche safety training, then a ski ascent to Hajla Peak (2,403m) and a descent through Gjoni Pass to the village of Reka e Allages, Albania, for a traditional Albanian dinner.
Drive to Lumbardhi village near the Montenegro border, then climb to the Guri i Kuq summit (2,520m) and ski down to Milishec village for a home-cooked dinner.
Ski to the Three Border Peak, where Kosovo, Montenegro, and Albania meet, for panoramic views, then a freeride descent to the guesthouse at Bogićevica.
Ski to the remote village of Dobërdoll — with no electricity or phone signal — for an evening by the fire with local rakıa and a home-cooked meal.
An early climb over Ali Cela Pass to the 2,656-metre summit of Gjeravica, then a ski descent through Deçan Gorge and a transfer back to Peja, Kosovo.
A soak in the thermal springs near Peja, then a visit to Rahovec's wineries for a wine tasting with local meze, before the transfer to Pristina International Airport.
The trip ends in Peja, Kosovo, with a transfer to Pristina International Airport for your departure flight.
