Cancellation and changes
You can cancel up to 24 hours before your tour date, and a cancellation made with less notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Your booking confirmation carries the cancellation terms that apply; section 7 of our Terms and Conditions covers cancellations. A booking needs at least 24 hours' notice. To cancel or change your date, email info@voyzo.com before the 24-hour cutoff; we will try to reschedule, subject to availability. Section 10 of the Terms and Conditions describes how independent operators fit in.
How booking works
- Choose your group size, date and start time. We need at least 24 hours' notice, and the calendar's hourly start options run from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; we confirm a start time that suits the market's hours.
- Send your request. The calendar's Book now button sends a request rather than a confirmed booking.
- Share your wishes. Put where you are staying, dietary needs, mobility needs, children's ages and any time you must finish by in the message box of the quote form on this page, or email info@voyzo.com.
- Receive your confirmation. Once we confirm availability by email, we send your exact time and starting-point details ahead of the tour.
How the hours work
The price covers a private food walk of 3 hours. The booking calendar shows one price per group size and has no length option. Time beyond the 3 hours is charged additionally; tell us by email to info@voyzo.com or in the quote form on this page if you want a longer tour, and we confirm the rate and the total in your booking confirmation.
Who runs your tour
You book with Voyzo FZ-LLC, and Voyzo remains your point of contact for booking, pricing and support: info@voyzo.com.
Your group has its own guide for the full walk and is not combined with other travellers.
Some private tours run on the vehicles and drivers of Voyzo's affiliated Canadian operating company; other tours, such as flights, boat rides and attraction visits, are run by independent operators, all professionally licensed and insured. This page does not say which applies to this walk or name your guide: ask us before you book.
Food and tastings
Tastings are included in the price. The tour description names a peameal bacon sandwich and a butter tart, and your guide chooses the vendors along the route. This page names no vendor, and the number and size of the tastings are not published, so we confirm the stops by email. Meals and snacks beyond the tastings are not included. The market's FAQ says all vendors accept cash and many accept Interac or major credit cards (checked 29 October 2026).
Dietary needs and allergies
Tell us about allergies and dietary needs (vegetarian, halal, kosher, gluten-free, no pork) when you book, by email to info@voyzo.com or in the quote form on this page, and we confirm by email what can be arranged. The headline tasting, a peameal bacon sandwich, is pork. We cannot promise that every need can be met, and this page makes no allergen-safety claim.
The Hockey Hall of Fame stop
The Hall is at Brookfield Place, 30 Yonge Street, at Yonge and Front Streets, and its visitor entrance is on the Concourse Level of Brookfield Place. It lists daily hours of 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in winter and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm during holiday breaks, and says food and drinks may not be brought in, it has no lockers or coat check, and cameras are welcome. The price of this tour does not include Hall admission, and the Hall puts the average visit at about two hours, most of a 3-hour tour; we confirm by email what your stop covers (checked 29 October 2026).
Tickets and extras
The price covers the guided walk and the tastings. Hall admission, gratuities, meals and snacks beyond the tastings, and time beyond the 3 hours are not included. If you want Hall admission added, tell us by email to info@voyzo.com or in the quote form on this page, and we confirm whether it can be arranged and the total.
Days, hours and holidays
The South Market at St. Lawrence Market is closed on Monday and open Tuesday to Friday 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday 7 am to 5 pm and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm, and the Hockey Hall of Fame opens at 10:00 am on most winter days and at 9:00 am during holiday breaks (both checked 29 October 2026). Destination Toronto suggests a weekday, outside Mondays, for less of a crowd. The booking calendar offers the same start times on Mondays and may offer dates the market or the Hall is closed, so we confirm a start time and a day that suit both; the dated table in the Itinerary section lists the holiday hours.
Weather and what to bring
The market and the Hall are indoor venues (we confirm by email whether your Hall stop goes inside), and the tour description calls it a walking-paced tour through Old Toronto, so expect time outdoors between them and wear shoes for walking. Environment Canada's 1991-2020 normals put the daily maximum at its Toronto (City) station at 8.1 C in November, 2.6 C in December and -0.3 C in January, and the normal snowfall at Toronto Pearson at 9.3 cm in November, 24.1 cm in December and 31.5 cm in January (checked 29 October 2026). The tour description gives no weather policy, so ask us before you book what happens in heavy snow or rain; section 7 of our Terms and Conditions covers cancellations.
Accessibility
St. Lawrence Market's FAQ says the market is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator just inside the South Market's main doors. The Hockey Hall of Fame says wheelchairs and strollers can reach every area, with an elevator beside the steps to the Great Hall and one free loan wheelchair, first come, first served (both checked 29 October 2026). We do not publish the walk's length or surfaces: tell us about any mobility needs before you book and we confirm with the operator what can be arranged. If you travel by TTC, the TTC lists King Station among stations still awaiting elevators and Union Station is not on that list; confirm with the TTC, because its schedule can change.
Children
We do not list a minimum age for this tour. Include children's ages in your booking request or message, and we confirm by email. The Hockey Hall of Fame lists a youth admission band for ages 4 to 13 and free entry for ages 3 and under, and says strollers can reach every area (checked 29 October 2026).
Private food walk, shared food tour or doing it yourself?
| Topic | This private tour | Shared tour | Booking it yourself |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who you walk with | Your group only, with its own guide; not combined with other travellers | Other travellers | Your own party |
| What you taste | Tastings are included; the description names a peameal bacon sandwich and a butter tart, and your guide chooses the vendors | Varies by operator; check what the price covers | Whatever you buy, stall by stall |
| Hockey Hall of Fame | A stop is part of the tour; admission is not in the price, and we confirm what your stop covers | Varies by tour | You buy admission yourself; the Hall publishes its own prices |
| Getting there | We arrange transport to the starting point and back | Varies by operator | TTC Line 1 to King Station, then south on Yonge Street and east on Front Street East for the market; Line 1 to Union Station and the Brookfield Place exit for the Hall (TTC) |
| Timing | A start time we confirm to suit the market's hours on your date | Varies by operator | Yours, within the market's and the Hall's hours |
| Cost | One group total: US$1,499 for 1 to 4 guests, rising with group size (see the pricing table) | Often sold per person, so compare the total for your group | What you buy, plus your own transport |
| If plans change | Cancel up to 24 hours before your tour date; terms come with your confirmation | Varies by operator | Depends on what you book |
| Choose it if | You want a guided tasting walk with a Hall stop for your group alone | You prefer a per-person price | You want to set everything yourself |
A shared food tour is often priced per person, so compare the total for your group. The private walk is one group total, and your group walks alone with its own guide and the tour includes a stop at the Hockey Hall of Fame, and it is the closer fit for a family or a group that can share one total. Doing it yourself costs only what you buy, but you plan the order, the transport and the timing.

Groups of 1 to 56 guests can book, and the price follows the group size, from US$1,499 for 1 to 4 guests to US$3,999 for 35 to 56 guests. The calendar lists 1 to 20 guests; for 21 to 56, choose “> 20” in the group-size list, type your group size and click outside the box so the price updates. We confirm by email how a larger group is guided.
How does booking work?
Booking is a request: pick your group size, a date and a preferred start time in the calendar, then press its “Book now” button. A booking needs at least 24 hours' notice, and nothing is confirmed until we confirm availability by email. After that we send your exact time and starting-point details. The calendar itself describes this product as on request.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to 24 hours before your tour date. A cancellation made with less notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Your booking confirmation carries the cancellation terms that apply, and section 7 of our Terms and Conditions covers cancellations. To cancel or change your date, email info@voyzo.com before the 24-hour cutoff; we will try to reschedule, subject to availability.
Who runs the tour, and who guides it?
You book with Voyzo FZ-LLC, and Voyzo stays your point of contact for booking, pricing and support. Your group has its own guide for the full walk. Some private tours run on the vehicles and drivers of Voyzo's affiliated Canadian operating company; other tours are run by independent operators, all professionally licensed and insured. This page does not say which applies to this walk or name the guide, so ask us before you book.
What is peameal bacon?
The Canadian Encyclopedia describes peameal bacon as a Canadian dish of cured, not smoked, pork loin coated in cornmeal. Destination Toronto names the peameal bacon sandwich as the Canadian food St. Lawrence Market is most famous for (checked 29 October 2026). The tour description names a peameal bacon sandwich as a tasting; we confirm the stop by email, and because it is pork it does not suit pork-free diets.
How is this different from the Taste of Toronto icewine walking tour?
Both are private food walks of 3 hours with a peameal bacon sandwich and a butter tart among the tastings. This one adds a stop at the Hockey Hall of Fame, and its starting point is confirmed by email. The Taste of Toronto icewine walking tour meets at St. Lawrence Market, adds an icewine tasting in the Distillery District and a BeaverTail pastry at Harbourfront, and lists no Hall stop. Compare each page's stops, price and terms before you book.

About the Private St. Lawrence Market Food Tour
This is a food walk for groups who want to taste their way through the market and the streets around it with a guide of their own. The tour description calls its route Old Toronto. Destination Toronto calls the historic centre of Toronto Old Town and defines it as the area between Yonge Street, the Don River, Queen Street East and the Gardiner Expressway, with St. Lawrence Market among its sub-areas (checked 29 October 2026).
Opening days and winter conditions shape the plan. Where a detail depends on your date, we confirm it by email.
St. Lawrence Market is at 92-95 Front Street East in Toronto. The City of Toronto says the South Market has more than 60 specialty vendors and that the market complex has been a City landmark for more than 200 years. Destination Toronto describes the complex as three buildings that have served as Toronto's social centre, City Hall and marketplace, and its timeline records City Council moving into the market building's second-floor chambers in 1845 and the market marking its 200th anniversary in 2003 (checked 29 October 2026).
Destination Toronto names the peameal bacon sandwich as the Canadian food St. Lawrence Market is most famous for, and The Canadian Encyclopedia describes peameal bacon as a Canadian dish of cured, not smoked, pork loin coated in cornmeal. The tour description names a peameal bacon sandwich and a butter tart as tastings; this page names no vendor, because your guide chooses the vendors along the route.
The Hockey Hall of Fame says it was agreed on 10 September 1943 to set up the Hall in Kingston, Ontario, that the NHL later withdrew its support for Kingston as the home, citing construction delays, and that the Hall opened on the Canadian National Exhibition grounds in Toronto on 26 August 1961. It opened in the former Bank of Montreal building at Yonge and Front Streets on 18 June 1993. The Hall says construction of that building began in 1885, that it was the bank's head office until 1949 and a branch until 1982, and that its Great Hall measures 70 by 70 feet under a 45-foot stained-glass dome (the Hall's history pages, checked 29 October 2026).
