Toronto Tall Ship Harbour Cruise: sample outing
This is a sample outing, not a fixed schedule. The sail follows the operator's timetable and the ship's own route, so the times depend on the sailing we confirm with you, the traffic and your pickup address. No time is set on this page except the operator's published sailing format of 2 hours, which includes about 30 minutes of boarding.
-

Your driver-guide collects your group at a hotel, home or airport in the Greater Toronto Area. We confirm your exact pickup time by email once the booking is confirmed.

Sail
Under sail on Toronto Harbour
The operator says its public sailings head out through the eastern or western gap onto Lake Ontario. Sailing needs wind, and the operator publishes no route, so we list no sights.

Cancellation and changes
You can cancel up to 24 hours before your tour date, and a cancellation made less than 24 hours before your tour date may be subject to a cancellation fee. Your booking confirmation carries the cancellation terms that apply; section 7 of our Terms and Conditions covers cancellations. A booking needs at least 24 hours' notice. To cancel or change your date, email info@voyzo.com before the 24-hour cutoff; we will try to reschedule, subject to availability. Section 10 of the Terms and Conditions describes how independent operators fit in.
How booking works
- Choose your group size, date and start time. We need at least 24 hours' notice, and the calendar's hourly start options run from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Send your request. The calendar's Book now button sends a request rather than a confirmed booking.
- Share your pickup address and any wishes. Put your pickup address, dietary needs, mobility needs, children's ages and any time you must be back in the message box of the quote form on this page, or email info@voyzo.com.
- Receive your confirmation. Once we confirm availability by email, we send your exact sail time, the boarding point and your pickup time ahead of the tour.
How the 2 hours work
The tour is listed as a 2-hour tall ship cruise. On the operator's published schedule a public sailing lasts 2 hours, the first 30 minutes for boarding and then about 1.5 hours under way. We confirm by email how the drive between your address and the dock fits around those 2 hours. The booking calendar shows one price per group size and has no length option; if you want a longer outing, tell us by email to info@voyzo.com or in the quote form on this page, and we confirm whether it is possible and the total.
Season and winter dates
The operator's published schedule of public sailings runs from May to the first weekend of October 2026 and lists no sailings for November to April or for 2027 (checked 29 October 2026). The booking calendar on this page shows dates all year and a booking is a request until we confirm it, so we confirm by email whether a sail runs on your date. If you are planning for winter, ask us before you book. The dated table in the Itinerary section lists the sources.
The ship and your sailing
The Kajama is a 165-foot three-masted schooner that the operator says sails Toronto Harbour and Lake Ontario. The operator sells places on public sailings and arranges private charters of its ships separately. Whether the ship is chartered for your group or shared with other guests on your date, we confirm by email when we confirm your booking. Your vehicle and driver-guide are for your group only.
Who runs your tour
You book with Voyzo FZ-LLC, and Voyzo remains your point of contact for booking, pricing and support: info@voyzo.com.
Some private tours run on the vehicles and drivers of Voyzo's affiliated Canadian operating company; other tours, such as flights, boat rides and attraction visits, are run by independent operators, all professionally licensed and insured. The ship is run by its own operator, a separate company whose crew sail it, and the operator says its vessels are Transport Canada certified (checked 29 October 2026). Your vehicle and driver-guide are licensed and insured; a separate tour guide is not included.
Food and drink
The operator says its public sails have a galley menu and a fully licensed bar, and guests can buy food and drink on board without pre-purchasing. Food and drink are not part of the tour price unless we say so, and we confirm what applies to your sailing by email. The legal drinking age in Ontario's licensed bars and restaurants is 19. The operator publishes its menus as images and we found no allergy or dietary statement, so tell us about dietary needs or allergies before you book. Gratuities are not included.
Accessibility
The operator says the boarding entrance and the outside deck are wheelchair accessible, the Kajama's gangplank is 36 inches wide, and the indoor washrooms are down a flight of stairs that is not accessible, with accessible washrooms near both docking locations (checked 29 October 2026). We have not confirmed a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for this tour. If anyone in your group has mobility needs, tell us before you book, by email to info@voyzo.com or in the quote form on this page, and we confirm what is possible.
Children
The operator says its vessels are Transport Canada certified, carry children's life vests and are safe for children, sells public tickets in child (5 to 15) and infant (0 to 4) categories and lists no minimum age (checked 29 October 2026). Include your children's ages in the quote form or in an email to info@voyzo.com, and we confirm the details for your sailing by email.
What to bring and the weather
Wear layers: the operator's company FAQ recommends layered clothing because the climate on the lake can be unpredictable. The operator says its boats cruise in most types of weather, with canopies on the outside deck when it rains and fully enclosed indoor rooms. Environment and Climate Change Canada's 1991 to 2020 normals for the Toronto (City) station give a normal daily maximum of 27.0 degrees Celsius in July, 8.1 in November and −0.3 in January. Sailing needs wind, so a windy day gives a livelier sail than a calm one.
Group size
Groups of 1 to 56 guests are welcome. Larger groups are matched to a larger vehicle: an SUV up to 6 guests, a Sprinter van up to 14 and a coach up to 56. Tell us your final group size when you book.

| Topic | This tour | A public sailing | Going on your own |

| Timing | We confirm your sail time and pickup time by email | Fixed departures set by the operator, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, plus a Friday After Dark sailing at 10:15 pm in summer | The same fixed departures |
| Season | Sailings are seasonal; we confirm availability for your date | May to the first weekend of October 2026 on the published schedule | The same published schedule |
| Cost | One group total: US$1,499 for 1 to 4 guests, rising with group size (see the pricing table) | Priced per person by the operator | Priced per person by the operator, plus your own transport |
| If plans change | Cancel up to 24 hours before your tour date; terms come with your confirmation | Set by the operator | Set by the operator |
| Choose it if | You want the sail with a vehicle collecting your group and one group price | You want a seat on a published sailing and will make your own way | You want to book the sailing directly |
A public sailing is priced per person and you travel to the harbour yourself; the operator's schedule lists CAD 42 for an adult and CAD 30 for a child aged 5 to 15, before fees and HST (checked 29 October 2026), so a seat alone costs far less in total than this tour. This tour is one group total that includes a private vehicle and driver-guide with pickup and drop-off in the GTA, and it is the closer fit when the group wants the transfer arranged or is large enough to share the total.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Toronto Tall Ship Harbour Cruise?
The Toronto Tall Ship Harbour Cruise is a 2-hour cruise on Toronto Harbour aboard the Kajama, a three-masted schooner launched in 1930, with a private vehicle and a licensed, insured driver-guide collecting your group at an address in the Greater Toronto Area. It costs US$1,499 in total for 1 to 4 guests and rises to US$3,999 for 35 to 56 guests. Sailings are seasonal, so we confirm by email whether a sail runs on your date.
How much does the Toronto tall ship cruise cost?
Prices are totals in US dollars for the whole group, with no added taxes: US$1,499 for 1 to 4 guests, US$1,799 for 5 to 6, US$1,999 for 7 to 10, US$2,499 for 11 to 14, US$2,999 for 15 to 28, US$3,499 for 29 to 34 and US$3,999 for 35 to 56 guests. The calendar's group-size hint explains how to enter groups of 21 to 56 guests.
What does the price include, and what is extra?
The price is the total for your group. It covers the tall ship cruise described on this page (we confirm by email what the total covers on board), a private vehicle for your group only with a licensed, insured driver-guide, pickup and drop-off at an address in the Greater Toronto Area, and all tolls, parking and fuel. It does not cover food and drink on board, gratuities, a separate tour guide, time beyond the 2 hours or pickup outside the GTA.
How long is the Toronto tall ship cruise?
The cruise is 2 hours. On the operator's published schedule a public sailing lasts 2 hours: the first 30 minutes are for boarding and the sail is about 1.5 hours (checked 29 October 2026). We confirm by email how the drive between your address and the dock fits around those 2 hours, and your exact pickup time, once your booking is confirmed.
Where does the tall ship leave from?
The operator's published berth for the Kajama is at Toronto Harbourfront, on the south wall between the two piers on Queens Quay West, directly behind Harbourfront Centre and The Power Plant (checked 29 October 2026). Your driver-guide takes the group there from your pickup address. We confirm the boarding point for your sailing by email, because the operator's directions give no street number.
What months does the Toronto tall ship sail, and is there a winter cruise?
The operator's published schedule, which shows no year, lists public sailings from May to the first weekend of October 2026: weekends and holidays in May, Wednesday to Sunday in June, every day from July to Labour Day, then Thursdays, Fridays and weekends. It lists no sailings for November to April or for 2027 and says it is subject to change (checked 29 October 2026). We confirm by email whether a sail runs on your date. For winter dates, ask us before you book.
Is the tall ship cruise private?
Your vehicle and driver-guide are for your group only. The Kajama is a passenger ship run by its own operator, which sells places on public sailings and arranges private charters separately. Whether the ship is chartered for your group or shared with other guests on your date, we confirm by email when we confirm your booking.
Can a driver pick us up from our hotel for the tall ship?
Yes. Pickup is included at a hotel, a home or an airport anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area, which we take to mean the City of Toronto and the regions of Durham, Halton, Peel and York, and drop-off at an address in the GTA is included too. For an airport pickup, send your flight details in the quote form. Pickup outside the GTA is not included, so request a custom quote.
How do I get to the Kajama by TTC?
On this tour you do not need transit, because the vehicle collects you. If you were making your own way, the operator's directions say to take the 509 or 510 streetcar from Union Station two stops to the Harbourfront Centre stop and walk south towards the water; The Power Plant's visitor page also names the 509 or 510 streetcar from Union Station to Harbourfront Centre. Check the TTC for current service, and ask us whether meeting at the dock can be arranged.
Can you help raise the sails?
Yes, if you want to; it is optional. The operator says crew and volunteers raise and lower the sails on its sailings and guests are welcome to help. It also says sailing needs wind, so a windy day gives a livelier sail than a calm one. We confirm by email what applies to your sailing.
Does the tall ship sail in rain or wind?
The operator says its boats cruise in most types of weather and that canopies go up on the outside deck when it rains. It also says sailing needs wind, so windier days give a livelier sail. The operator does not publish what happens when a sailing cannot go, so we confirm by email what applies to your booking.
What should I wear on a Toronto harbour sail?
Wear layers. The operator's company FAQ recommends layered clothing because the climate on the lake can be unpredictable. Environment and Climate Change Canada's 1991 to 2020 normals for the Toronto (City) station give a normal daily maximum of 27.0 degrees Celsius in July, 8.1 in November and −0.3 in January, so dress for the month you sail.
Can you buy food and drinks on the Toronto tall ship?
The operator says its public sails have a galley menu and a fully licensed bar, and guests can buy food and drink on board without pre-purchasing. Food and drink are not part of the tour price unless we say so, and we confirm what applies to your sailing by email. The legal drinking age in Ontario's licensed bars and restaurants is 19. Tell us about allergies or dietary needs before you book.
Is the Kajama wheelchair accessible?
The operator says the boarding entrance and the outside deck are wheelchair accessible and the gangplank is 36 inches wide, but the indoor washrooms are down a flight of stairs that is not accessible; accessible washrooms are near both docking locations (checked 29 October 2026). We have not confirmed a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for this tour, so tell us about mobility needs before you book.
Is the tall ship cruise suitable for children?
The operator says its vessels are Transport Canada certified, carry children's life vests and are safe for children, and it lists no minimum age; its public tickets are sold in child (5 to 15) and infant (0 to 4) categories (checked 29 October 2026). Tell us your children's ages when you book, and we confirm the details for your sailing by email.
Is the Kajama really an antique ship?
Yes. She is a vessel launched in 1930, not a replica. The operator's history says she was launched on 26 July 1930 in Rendsburg, Germany, as a three-masted cargo schooner, kept working under sail until the mid-1970s, when she was converted to a motor-driven vessel, and was restored to her original profile in a major overhaul of just over ten months after a Toronto company bought her in January 1999.
How many people can the Kajama carry, and can we charter it?
The operator says the Kajama carries up to 225 passengers, or up to 135 for a sit-down event, and it arranges private charters of its ships separately; its private-charter page lists no prices. This tour's calendar sells groups of 1 to 56 guests at a group total. If you want to ask about chartering the whole ship, say so in the quote form.
How does booking this tour work?
Choose your group size, date and preferred start time in the booking calendar, at least 24 hours before your tour. Your booking is a request until we confirm availability by email, as soon as possible after we receive it. We then email your exact sail time, the boarding point and your pickup details before the tour.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to 24 hours before your tour date. A cancellation made less than 24 hours before your tour date may be subject to a cancellation fee. Your booking confirmation carries the cancellation terms that apply, and section 7 of our Terms and Conditions covers cancellations. Who runs the tour, and who sails the ship?
You book with Voyzo FZ-LLC, and Voyzo stays your point of contact for booking, pricing and support. A licensed, insured driver-guide drives your vehicle; the ship's crew sail the Kajama, which is run by its own operator, a separate company. Some Voyzo private tours run on the vehicles and drivers of Voyzo's affiliated Canadian operating company; other tours, such as boat rides, are run by independent operators, all professionally licensed and insured.

About the Toronto Tall Ship Harbour Cruise
This tour is for groups who want a 2-hour cruise on Toronto Harbour without arranging their own way to the dock. A private vehicle with a licensed, insured driver-guide collects your group in the Greater Toronto Area, and the ship leaves from Toronto's Harbourfront, where the operator berths the Kajama behind Harbourfront Centre.
Season and weather shape the plan. Public sailings run from May to the first weekend of October on the operator's published schedule, its boats cruise in most types of weather, and sailing needs wind; we confirm by email whether a sail runs on your date and what applies if it cannot go.
The Toronto Tall Ship Harbour Cruise is a 2-hour cruise on the Kajama, a three-masted schooner that the operator describes as 165 feet long and sailing Toronto Harbour and Lake Ontario from downtown Toronto. Your group travels in a private vehicle with a licensed, insured driver-guide, who collects you at a hotel, home or airport in the Greater Toronto Area; the ship leaves from Toronto Harbourfront, where the operator berths it behind Harbourfront Centre and The Power Plant. Sailings are seasonal, so we confirm by email whether a sail runs on your date (operator pages and record, checked 29 October 2026).
The Kajama was launched on 26 July 1930 at the Nobiskrug shipyard in Rendsburg, Germany, as a three-masted cargo schooner. She traded general cargo, on routes that included the Arctic Circle in northern Norway, and kept working under sail until the mid-1970s, when she was converted to a motor-driven vessel. A Toronto company bought her in January 1999, and a major overhaul of just over ten months restored her to her original profile (the operator's history page, checked 29 October 2026).
On the operator's public sailings the first 30 minutes of the 2 hours are for boarding and the sail itself lasts about an hour and a half, heading out through the eastern or western gap onto Lake Ontario. Crew and volunteers raise and lower the sails and guests are welcome to help, the crew sing sea shanties, and sailing needs wind, so a windier day gives a livelier sail. Whether those details apply to your own sailing, and whether other guests share it, we confirm by email.
