A hot air balloon flight can be added to the overnight. Its price is not published here, so tell us when you request and we confirm the price and timings in our reply. The operator lists the flight for guests aged 7 and over.
The operator also pairs the overnight with its Camel Desert Safari, where the evening safari is by camel instead of a vintage Land Rover. Tell us if you would prefer that and we confirm the price in our reply.
Children aged 5 to 11 have their own rate, and a private vehicle is required for children under 5. The private-vehicle prices cover 1 to 9 guests; for a larger group, tell us your group size and we confirm the vehicles and the total.
Bookings of up to 4 guests can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure; inside 24 hours there is no refund. Groups of more than 4 guests have longer notice periods, which we confirm with your reply. If the experience cannot run because of severe weather or too few guests, you are offered another date or a full refund. We recommend travel insurance.
How requesting works
Send the request form with your group size, preferred date and hotel area. We reply by email to confirm availability and the total for your group, and your request is not a booking until we confirm it by email.
The room and the camp
The rooms are simple stone dwellings with a bed and bedding. They have no air conditioning or heating, bathrooms are shared and there are no showers on site. Camp power is off between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, and Wi-Fi is not mentioned in the operator's information. Room allocation is automatic for group bookings; tell us if you have a preference.
Luggage
On the operator's shared vehicles each guest may bring one overnight backpack or carry-on, no taller than 50 cm; larger luggage should be left at your hotel. If you travel in a private vehicle with larger bags, tell us when you request and we confirm what can be taken.
What to wear and bring
The desert is warm by day, so bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and cool, comfortable clothing. In winter bring something warm for the evening and the night, because the rooms have no heating. The operator says harmless insects are rare but possible at the camps.
Health, pregnancy and diet
The nature safari is not recommended for guests more than six months pregnant. Tell us about any dietary needs or allergies when you request so they can be passed on before the day.
Who runs the experience
You request through Voyzo FZ-LLC, which stays your point of contact for the request, the price and support: info@voyzo.com.
The experience is run by a licensed local operator.

The optional balloon flight is not included in these prices, and its price is not published here: we confirm it in our reply.
How do I request this tour?
Use the request form on this page with your group size, preferred date and hotel area. We reply by email to confirm availability and the total for your group, and your request is not a booking until we confirm it.
Is this a private tour?
Your vehicle, driver and Conservation Guide are private to your group, and the private-vehicle price covers a vehicle for your group only. The camp itself is shared: the dinner, performances and activity stations are shared with other guests staying that evening, and the operator says its camps are limited to 75 to 100 guests. It is a private transfer into a shared camp rather than a camp to yourselves.
What are the rooms like, and is there power at night?
The rooms are stone dwellings based on traditional Bedouin design, each with a bed and bedding. They have no air conditioning or heating, bathrooms are shared and available at the camp, and there are no showers on site, so bring something warm in winter. Camp power is off between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, so charge your devices before you arrive, and the operator's information does not mention Wi-Fi, so do not count on it. Rooms are allocated automatically for group bookings: tell us if you have a room preference and we confirm the arrangement in our reply.
How much luggage can we bring?
On the operator's shared vehicles each guest may bring one overnight backpack or carry-on, no taller than 50 cm, and larger luggage should be left at your hotel. If you travel in a private vehicle with larger bags, tell us how many and how big when you request and we confirm what can be taken.
When does it run, and what time are pickup and return?
It runs daily from 1 November to 30 April only. Pickup in Dubai is between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM depending on the season, with the exact time confirmed around noon on the day, and the return to the city is between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM the next morning.
Can we add a hot air balloon flight?
Yes, a sunrise hot air balloon flight can be added to the overnight stay. Its price is not published here, so tell us when you request and we confirm the price and timings in our reply. The operator's price list lists the flight for guests aged 7 and over, and after the flight breakfast is served at a desert oasis, so we also confirm how the flight changes your morning.
What food is served, and can dietary needs be catered for?
Dinner is a four-course traditional meal; the operator's menu lists soups, mezze such as hummus and baba ganoush, salads, mains such as lamb ouzi, chicken and vegetable tagine, and desserts such as luqaimat. Breakfast the next morning includes a live egg station and Middle Eastern, Asian and continental dishes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and kosher-style dinners are available, and breakfast is labelled gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan with a note about dairy and nuts; tell us any dietary needs or allergies when you request so they can be passed on before the day.
Is it suitable for children or during pregnancy?
Children aged 5 to 11 have their own rate, and a private vehicle is required for children under 5, so tell us the age of every child when you request. The nature safari is not recommended for guests more than six months pregnant.
What is the cancellation policy?
Bookings of up to 4 guests can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure; inside 24 hours there is no refund. Groups of more than 4 guests have longer notice periods, which we confirm with your reply. If the experience cannot run because of severe weather or too few guests, you are offered another date or a full refund. We recommend travel insurance.
Dubai Heritage Desert Safari in a Vintage Land RoverFrom AED 3,980 for 1 to 2 guests · About 7 hoursPrefer to be back in Dubai the same night? The same programme as an evening of about 7 hours: a vintage Land Rover safari, falcon show, camel rides and a four-course Emirati dinner.
Dubai Camel Desert Safari and Bedouin Camp DinnerFrom AED 795 per person · About 7 hoursPrefer a camel safari? An evening of about 7 hours with a 45-minute camel safari, falcon show, four-course Emirati dinner and stargazing at a Bedouin-style camp.
Dubai Private Sunrise Hot Air Balloon FlightFrom AED 12,950 for 1 to 2 guests · About 5 hours (approx. 1–hour flight)Want a balloon flight on its own? A private sunrise flight over the reserve, then breakfast in a private cabana.
The evening desert safaris bring you back to Dubai the same night. This one stays: after dinner and the performances, guests sleep in a stone-dwelling room inspired by traditional Bedouin building, wake to a desert sunrise and have a gourmet breakfast before returning to the city. The programme is the Heritage Desert Safari with the night added, and it runs only from 1 November to 30 April.
The nature safari takes place in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, which covers about 225 square kilometres, roughly 5% of Dubai's land area, and is home to Arabian oryx and gazelles. The oryx was declared extinct in the wild in the early 1970s and has since been reintroduced in the UAE. A Conservation Guide leads the 60-minute drive in a vintage Land Rover, and the evening then moves to a torch-lit Bedouin-style camp for a falcon show at sunset, camel rides and live bread and coffee making.
Falconry is far older than the reserve. Bedouin communities across the Arabian Peninsula practised it for centuries as a way of hunting, and UNESCO inscribed falconry on its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010, with the United Arab Emirates among the countries that submitted it. The accommodation is basic: the rooms have a bed and bedding but no air conditioning, heating or shower, and camp power is off overnight, so the appeal is the quiet and the night sky rather than hotel comforts.
