Higher rates apply from 24 Dec 2026 to 6 Jan 2027.
The private-vehicle prices are for the whole vehicle, not for each guest, and the table covers groups of up to 5 guests; for a larger group, tell us your group size and we confirm the vehicles and the total.

We confirm availability and the total for your date and group in our reply; your request is not a booking until we confirm it by email.
Bookings of up to 4 guests can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure; inside 24 hours there is no refund. What time is pickup and when do we return?
Pickup in Dubai is between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM depending on the season, with the exact time confirmed around noon on the day. The return to your hotel is between 9:30 PM and 11:30 PM, and the whole evening lasts about 7 hours.
Is there dune bashing?
No. The drive is a nature safari of about 60 minutes through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve in a Land Rover Defender, led by a Conservation Guide, not a dune-bashing ride.
What is the dinner like, and can dietary needs be catered for?
Dinner is a five-course menu curated by a Michelin-starred chef, served in your private cabana, and you choose one dish per course. Vegetarian, vegan, kosher-style and gluten-free meals are available; tell us any dietary needs or allergies when you request the tour so they can be passed on before the day.
Is it suitable for children or during pregnancy?
Children aged 5 to 11 have their own rate, and a private vehicle is required for children under 5, so tell us the ages of every child when you request. The nature drive is not recommended for guests more than six months pregnant.
What wildlife might I actually see in the Conservation Reserve?
The reserve is home to reintroduced Arabian oryx, sand gazelle, and mountain (Arabian) gazelle populations, along with native desert birds and reptiles; your Conservation Guide will point out what is active and visible on the evening of your drive.
What is the cancellation policy?
Bookings of up to 4 guests can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure; inside 24 hours there is no refund. Groups of more than 4 guests have longer notice periods, which we confirm with your reply. The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve is a protected area of dunes, gravel plains and ghaf woodland covering roughly 225 square kilometres, about five per cent of Dubai's land area. Sources differ on exactly when it was created, with a decree dated 2002 and a perimeter fence completed in 2003 both cited, and some trace its roots to the Al Maha conservation area of around 1999. Its best-known resident is the Arabian oryx, an antelope recorded as extinct in the wild by the early 1970s that the IUCN moved from extinct in the wild to vulnerable in 2011 after reintroductions across the Arabian Peninsula.
Falconry, the evening's other centrepiece activity, is a far older tradition than the reserve itself. Bedouin communities across the Arabian Peninsula practised falconry for centuries as a genuine hunting method in a landscape where food was never guaranteed, and in 2010 UNESCO inscribed falconry on its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on a nomination in which the United Arab Emirates was one of the original countries; later extensions widened the listing to 24 countries by 2021. A falcon show over sunset canapes here is a direct, if staged, continuation of that heritage.
Where this tour differs most clearly from Voyzo's other Dubai desert evenings is in what it deliberately leaves out: there is no dune bashing, and the Land Rover Defender drive through the reserve is built around spotting genuine desert flora and fauna with a Conservation Guide rather than an adrenaline-focused drive over dune faces. The evening closes with a five-course dinner at a private cabana and a fire performance, a more elaborate, modern version of the desert hospitality tradition that every Bedouin-style camp draws on in some form.
