Yes: the price covers a private, air-conditioned Land Rover Defender for your group only, with a Conservation Guide. The operator does not say whether your breakfast table at Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa is private.
What is the drive like, and is there dune bashing?
It is a guided nature drive through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve in a Land Rover Defender, led by a Conservation Guide who explains the desert's ecosystem, fauna, flora and conservation; the operator lists a 60-minute nature safari. The operator's pages do not mention dune bashing, so expect a wildlife drive rather than a thrill ride, and ask us if the driving style matters to you.
What wildlife might we see?
The reserve is best known for its free-roaming Arabian oryx and also supports Arabian and sand gazelles, Gordon's wildcat and many birds, and the operator describes the lake stop as a migratory bird lake. The operator does not name species for this morning and sightings cannot be guaranteed, so your guide tells you what is around on the day.
What time is pickup, and when do we return?

Is it suitable for children or during pregnancy?
The operator's brochure says alternative breakfast arrangements are made for guests under 8, in line with Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa's age policy, and its other pages give a different age, so tell us the age of every child and we confirm the breakfast arrangement in our reply. The nature drive is not recommended for guests more than six months pregnant.
What is breakfast like, and can dietary needs be catered for?
Breakfast is on the deck of Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, overlooking the dunes. The operator's listed menu includes a passionfruit and turmeric shot and four dishes named Water, Earth, Fire and Air, with eggs, fruit and drinks, and it can change. Al Maha caters to gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diets, so tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you request and we pass them on before the day.
What is the cancellation policy?
Bookings of up to 4 guests can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure; inside 24 hours there is no refund. The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve is a protected area of dunes, gravel plains and ghaf woodland in the south-east of the Emirate of Dubai. It is usually described as covering about 225 square kilometres, roughly 5% of Dubai's land area, though sources differ on exactly when it was created: an Emiri decree of 2002 is cited, other accounts give 2003 or describe a perimeter fence completed that year, and some trace its roots to the Al Maha conservation area around 1999. Access is managed to limit disturbance to the habitat, and most visits take the form of guided excursions.
Its best-known resident is the Arabian oryx, an antelope recorded as extinct in the wild by the early 1970s. Breeding programmes and reintroductions across the Arabian Peninsula brought it back, and the IUCN moved it from extinct in the wild to vulnerable in 2011. The reserve is described as home to a free-roaming herd, alongside Arabian and sand gazelles, Gordon's wildcat and many bird species. Descriptions of the reserve note that the cooler hours around dawn and dusk are the best for wildlife, which is the logic of an early-morning drive.
This morning pairs the reserve with breakfast: a Land Rover Defender drive with a professional Conservation Guide, a stop at a remote lake that the operator describes as a migratory bird lake, and breakfast on the deck of Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, described as the only hotel inside the reserve. On its web page the operator says a portion of the safari fee goes towards local conservation in Dubai.
